Description:
COM files are binary executable files similar to EXE files. They can be executed on 32-bit version of Windows machines but require NT Virtual DOS Machine (NTVDM) to be installed on a 64-bit version of Windows.

There is little legitimate use for COM files today. Download or execution of COM files should be restricted.
